I just finished resawing backs, tops and sides from boards for the next build. If you have given me the specifications for an instrument, it's now in process and pictured somewhere above. Each pile comprises all the exterior wood plus any internal backs or soundboards depending on the model. Only the end blocks need to be added and they are roughed out as well. The two bodies are from the initial sound tests with Aaron and will be completed soon. The one on the end has a Western Red Cedar soundboard clamped on for additional tests and it sounds great. Now I have to decide whether to build it out with the Western Red or the Port Orford Cedar- decisions, decisions.
